The number of Iowas who have tested positive be for the novel coronavirus is at 11,457 as of May 7 at 11:59 pm, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health. That’s 397 more than the previous day.
Twelve Iowans died, bringing the total of Iowans who had died of COVID-19 to 243.
Statewide, 70,261 Iowans have been tested, a ratio of 1 in every 42 Iowans.
In Greene County the number of positive cases remains at 13. Only 165 county residents have been tested.
